| BE-21-08 | A construction of certain Fischer embedded subgroups generated by three transpositions in Fi22 | The importance of this research is that the construction of D-groups or the 3-transposition
groups in the Fischer group Fi22 shed more light on this important group and lead to
understand this group much better by showing the embedding of certain D-groups in it.
Furthermore, embedding of D-groups in Fi22 over fields of characteristic two has not been
studied, this is from one side. The embedding of D-groups in Fi22 studied by G. Engright
was under a very strong conditions that is O2(G)<= Z(G)>= O3(G) and G' = G\\ where G
is the group generated by E and E is a proper subset of the transposition class D and E is
a single conjugacy class in G. But our study will be carried out without such conditions.
This means that our methodology is more powerful.<br>From this project it s expected to determine ranks of certain D-groups in Fischer
group Fi22 , this will have a considerable impact on more understanding of this im-
portant group in the eld of group theory.<br>Kuwaiti teaching assistants and technicians will be involved in the computations of
